Oxford Real Farming Conference – Part Two

Day two of Oxford Real Farming Conference (ORFC) 2018 saw me attend my most inspiring talk of the conference, the chance to hear Perrine Herve-Gruyer of La Ferme du Bec Hellouin talk about using permaculture and bi-intensive methods to be highly productive farming on a small-scale. Finally the sun is shining and the conditions finally ok to get on at the allotment. Unfortunately that means a lot of overdue weeding to do. Will get through it bit by bit - this trowel is going to be worked hard #allotment #allotmentlife #allotmentlove #allotmentuk #weeding

First of the flowers for the summer parterre display are coming up. This tray, and many others as I need 450 plants, contains Alyssum.
I honestly thought I'd killed my drosera. It had been looking so sad for a while & was all withered and mouldy. But found this one little guy surviving within all the mess around them and now, only a few weeks later, it's thriving. Got to love a resilient plant. #drosera #droseracapensis #carnivorousplants #carnivorousplant #plants #plantsofinstagram #houseplants
