Oxford Real Farming Conference – Part Two

Day two of Oxford Real Farming Conference (ORFC) 2018 saw me attend my most inspiring talk of the conference, the chance to hear Perrine Herve-Gruyer of La Ferme du Bec Hellouin talk about using permaculture and bi-intensive methods to be highly productive farming on a small-scale. Hey bud 👋
Obsessed with the espaliers and cordons in the @ntbeningbrough walled garden - especially loving how chunky and knobbly the oldest of the espalier fruit are 🍐 🍏 🍇
I have grown lots of onions from seed and they are one of the first sowings done every year. In this article for Homes & Gardens I discuss the pros and cons of both growing onions from seed and using sets.
I took more than a bit of inspiration from my time at @nthanburyhall for my latest article on 'How to grow a lemon tree - both inside and out' ....link in bio 🍋 🍋
Happy new year Better late than never (as I forgot I'd done a top 9 last week), here is my best of 2022. Surprise surprise it's mainly pictures of veg and fruit I've grown. So it was a funny old year, and I ended it in a new job in a new town. Things are a little bit different, but it's all exciting stuff 👍
Managed to make it to @rhsharlowcarr for the last night of 'Glow'. Quite spectacular, the gardens looked ace - glad I got to see it. Definitely wish I had better photography skills 📸
